Why will this happen?
The NBA will release a list of the 75 greatest players in NBA history to commemorate its 75th anniversary. The legends will be ranked by a group of experts composed of media, current and former players, coaches, and general managers.
When will they disclose it?
The biggest stars will be in attendance at the 2022 All-Star Game in Cleveland in February. However, we will know who they are starting next week.
The NBA has just declared the date in which the entire ranking will be divulged, namely over three days from October 19-21:
- During the NBA Tip-Off program with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith on October 19th at midnight, 25 athletes will be disclosed.
- On October 20 at 9 p.m, another 25 players will be discovered in the NBA Today program, lasting 60 minutes.
- During the NBA Tip-Off program on October 21st at midnight, the final 25 players will be revealed.
Ambassadors for the NBA's 75th season
Clyde Drexler, Magic Johnson, Bob Pettit, Oscar Robertson, and Dirk Nowitzki will serve as ambassadors for this season, according to the league.
